Finding bloggers
by juliecround
I am pretty hopeless at this lark but I do want to find some more fellow bloggers. If I find a wordpress blog and comment on it is that the best way to make a connection? I don’t seem able to do it from my own site. It all looks too twitter like for my taste but other people seem to find me. Is that through Google?
Hope you can find a way to comment on my blog — I’m the guy you wrote to on LibraryThing
Thanks Alexander. Now I have to find your blog. I got loads of hits at last so I must be doing something right.
Hi, Julie
The trick is to add keywords. These are the words that the search engines look for and there is a box in wordpress for you to enter them. Make sure that the keywords you use are in the title and the text of your blog. You can do some keyword research to find the most popular keywords. Type them into google and see what happens. You will be bound to be taken to other blogs where you can make comments and this will help people find your site. I hope this helps.

Hello, Julie
If you want to read other blogs, one way is to click the big W in the top left corner of the screen and click the reader. This will show you the blogs you follow as well as the different topics there are out there.
As Keith says, use the tags and people will find you that way.
Happy blogging.
