Our first ‘Christmas’ dinner last night was with the Foresters at Hangleton Manor. I had salmon and fruit meringue rather than turkey and ‘figgy pudding’as we have more of such events to come.We won a box of crackers in the raffle and the event realised a considerable sum for one of our local hospices.
Out to ‘Extend’ to do my weekly exercises this afternoon and then to the ‘Sea Scribes’to buy some more of the Christmas Anthology as they will soon have to be put away until next year if we don’t distribute them.
Writing has come to a full stop. I’ll start again in 2014. Ditto with book reviews – I’ll let you all know when I find one I really enjoy.
