Since publishing three family novels, Lane’s End, Un-Stable Lane and The Third Lane , Julie has been giving talks to local groups and reading poetry in a Care Home. She has recently begun recording a newspaper for the blind and also has an audio copy of her first novel.
The next two novels are about a woman who runs away from home to the South Coast. Never Run Away is followed by Never Pretend, where a schoolteacher who sings in a trio has problems connecting with his adopted son. All books contain references to venues in and around Worthing.
A member of SWWJ, Julie is actively involved in a local writing group and is now a speaker for the WI. Her reading habits are varied, from Stephen King to Anita Shreve with character-based fiction the favourite genre.
