Julie started writing novels in 2006 and has published five so far under the Oldstickbooks imprint. The first, Lane’s End, deals with the difficulties a learning disabled man has in adjusting to modern life. The second shows a family coping with natural and relationship disasters ( UN-Stable Lane) and The Third Lane takes a teenage girl from disappointment to love. Never Run Away and Never Pretend are about a different family who, in spite of trouble with the law, find the solution to their problems in Sussex. All books appeal to anyone sympathetic to the vagaries of family life.
Julie also writes with the ‘Sea Scribes’ who publish poems and stories, the latest being a Worthing anthology. All books can be ordered from her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
